District Contest planning is underway!
Please make sure you are joining your district’s advisor group in Schoology. Each district has its own page where advisors and the state office can connect without students. Videos of the town halls and other resource materials are posted in each district’s group. District or State Schoology use will be a different log in specific to that event.
Starting an account is free at schoology.com. You will create an account as a student. Once you have an account go to Groups and then join a new group, you will be asked for an access code. Please reach out to your district director for your group code.

Registration opens Jan 10th. Registration closes on Feb 4th. Late registration $25/registrant-allowed only with director approval. Substitutions are allowed until Feb 11th. Cancellations with a partial refund until Feb 4th.
Registration packet pick up starts Thurs Feb 17th at 2pm.

Awards Ceremony: Texas Hall at UT Arlington 701 West Nedderman Dr Arlington 76010. Sat Feb 18th. House of Delegates
3:00pm Doors at 3:30, Awards 4:00-6:00pm. Parking TBD. Must have a conference badge to enter.
No payments will be taken on-site. Payment is due by Mar 4th.
COVID release is part of your insurance statement in registration, nothing extra is needed on site. Local CDC guidelines will be enforced.

All Texas Chapters abide by the regulations as outlined in the Texas Regulations. This document outlines registration limits, state, and nationals advancements, Texas Only contests, and more. Please refer to the Texas Regulations for detailed information. Always prepare your students by reading the newest edition of contest guidelines.
- Each conference attendee MUST fill out the SkillsUSA Texas Personal Liability and Medical Release Form for EACH SkillsUSA Texas event they attend. This includes students, advisors and any observers or guests.
National Technical Standards
National contests are listed in the national technical standards a free download with your paid professional membership.
Log on to www.skillsusa-register.org, and you should see a technical standards icon at the bottom of the page after you log in. If you click on that icon you will be directed to: https://mycareeressentials.org. (this platform is called Absorb) Advisors will need to create an account on Absorb to access the Technical Standards. If you need help setting up that account, please contact SkillsUSA’s customer care team at 844-875-4557 for assistance.
