Health Occupations Competitions

SkillsUSA offers many opportunities for growth through career competitions. Students can compete at the local, district, state, national or international levels. Students must compete at the district level to advance to the state level, and then state to advance to the national contest. SkillsUSA Texas offers Health Occupations contests in all participating Training Programs. In addition to the competitions, students may also compete in the Skilled and Technical, Leadership Development, and Occupationally Related competitions.

The following is a list of current Health Occupations competitions that are offered in SkillsUSA Texas. Keep in mind, that some of the contests are “State Only”, meaning there is not a national level for that contest. National contest descriptions are on the national web page, www.skillsusa.org, and the “State Only” contest descriptions can be found within the Texas Regulations.
